What began as a movement method concept has grown into one of Wilmington’s most sought-after fitness studios. Empower Method was dreamed up by founder Jennifer Taylor, a seasoned pilates and barre instructor with a gift for building community through movement. When Jennifer first approached me, the studio didn’t exist yet. There was no space, no signage, no polished photos ... just a vision for something that felt different.  

From that early concept, I became fully immersed in bringing the brand to life. With no physical location to anchor us in those beginning months, we had to be especially intentional about shaping a visual identity that could carry the weight of what the studio would one day become. 

Founding memberships launched before the studio doors had even opened, and they sold out in under an hour. By the time Empower Method Studio officially opened in April 2025, the anticipation was palpable. Waitlists formed almost immediately. The community showed up in full force. The energy that had been carefully cultivated behind the scenes translated seamlessly into the physical space.

Since then, I’ve continued to lead their creative and marketing efforts, from full-scale content production and email marketing to campaign planning, partnership strategy, and more. Empower Method has hosted sold-out events, partnered with brands like Lululemon and built a loyal, growing community.
